Goal: To provide a place for members to gather with people who are going through similar experiences; to build community and a sense of belonging for the members of Our Clubhouse.
Objective: To assist in social events; which may include potluck dinners, parties, movie nights, and various other social activities.
Responsibilities: Set up/Tear Down: Setting up for social events includes rearranging furniture in the community room, setting up portable tables and chairs, preparing the kitchen for food service, and other activities. During the event, volunteers will assist with various cleanup activities and participate in the event as a member of the community. At the conclusion of the event, volunteers will assist with tear down and clean up.
Kitchen Help: Volunteers talented in the kitchen may
offer to cook and/or serve dinner for social events.
Entertainment: Volunteers or groups with a special talent and/or ability to entertain are always welcome at Our Clubhouse. Entertainment volunteers can provide the music at a pre-established event, or create an entirely new event.
Qualifications: Interest in social events.
Training: Attend a volunteer orientation.Attend a social event for additional training by a seasoned social event volunteer. Entertainers should submit any demo tape or previous performance material.
Evaluation: Informal feedback.
Commitment: As schedule allows.

Cancer Bridges supports those impacted by cancer through a variety of free programs and services.
Description
Cancer Bridges provides a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who has been impacted by cancer. This includes those with a cancer diagnosis, those who have a loved one with cancer, or have experienced the loss of a loved one due to cancer. All of our programs and activities are 100% free.
- Clinical Support: members may meet with one of the mental health professional on staff for cancer focused, short term support
- Support Groups: offered by licensed professionals focusing on emotional and educational topics. Groups feature various speakers and open discussion
- Health & Wellness Workshops: such as Reiki, yoga, Zumba, mediation, and specialized health and wellness workshops
- Creative Expressions: such as creative journaling, rock painting, and knitting
- Education Lectures: a variety of topics related to the cancer experience, presented by experts in the field.
- Social Activities: a way to connect to other members at Cancer Bridges.
- Specialized Programs: a variety of cancer specific programs designed to meet the unique needs of our members
- Family And Youth Program: unique programming to meet the needs of your family
