During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
The Blood supply in the United States is at risk due to the COVID -19 pandemic. We are currently working around the clock to set up blood drives in our communities to ensure those who need blood the most, will have access to it.
At these blood drives we need volunteers there to help provide a positive experience for those donating. First, we need someone to screen the donors to make sure they are healthy enough to enter the drive. From there, volunteers assist with the sign-in process, make the wait time comfortable for donors and provide a snack and beverage once the donation is complete.
You will need to fill out a volunteer application at: www.redcross.org
Next you will need to read through brief training materials. Once that is complete, you will have access to a calendar to see which drives are in your area and sign-up directly from there.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Stacey Moore at Stacey.Moore@redcross.org.

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
Every single day, the American Red Cross helps people in emergencies. Whether itﾒs one displaced family, thousands of disaster victims, or providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran or support to a military family member, our vital work is made possible by people like you. It is through the time and care of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things.
We'll work with your schedule.
