COVID-19 Food Service: This is a contact-free food pantry model that provides fresh, frozen, and shelf stable products to clients in need. Because of COVID-19 we have increased how many clients we can see and therefore we need your help! Help us meet the great demand for plenty of healthy food during this tough time.
DATES: We have a variety of days and times to choose from. Please consider signing up for a weekly shift for the entire month. If you have vacation or another reason you cannot do a week that is okay! We can find someone to fill your spot! Thank you for helping us continue to serve a great need during this time!
TASKS:
- Warehouse: Help pack produce bags, shelf-stable boxes, and sort through rescued food.
- Breakfast: Help distribute weekly curbside breakfast boxes and help pack boxes for breakfast distribution.
LOCATION: WE HAVE MOVED TO: 506 South 29th Street, Harrisburg PA 17104
DRESS: Closed toe shoes are necessary. Please wear breathable, appropriate and comfortable clothing. Masks are required.
PARKING & BUILDING ENTRY: Parking is available in our front parking lot. Please enter the building through the Main Entrance and you will be assisted from there.
