Do you have the gift of compassion and conversation? Do you enjoy getting to know other people? Texas Home Health Hospice has an immediate opening for a volunteer to help hospice patients with Life Legacy Log therapy. A Life Legacy Log is an organized binder with places to record all different aspects of a patient's life: homes they have lived in, employment, friends they have had, hobbies they have enjoyed. Writing all of this information down can help a patient talk back through their life and can evoke some wonderful memories to pass on to the next generation. All training is provided and volunteers set their own schedules.

Description
We are a hospice organization who serves a 9 county, 60 mile radius area of Longview, Texas. Our parent company is AccentCare. We have RN, Social Work, Spiritual Care and CNA services. Our Berevement team serves the family for 13 months after the date of death.
