The H. L. Hunley submarine is one of the most important artifcacts in American history. As we continue to work towards buiding a home for the Hunley, we want to increase our donations and memberships.
Each weekend, we have 100-400+ a day visiting the Hunley lab. We have a membership table where visitors ask questions and inquire about joining Friends of the Hunley.
This opportunity will allow for the volunteer to help sign up new members for Friends of the Hunley. The position may also include some data entry and may also have mid-week, off-site, community outreach opportunities as well.
The volunteer will be critical to the growth of Friends of the Hunley and securing a home for this very important relic.
