Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls program offers group activities via a conference call to homebound older adults in the community. We are seeking a male volunteer to facilitate a "men's chat" session for our older adult male participants. This is a very flexible session and can entail chatting, sharing trivia, stories, or more! Create opportunity for creative-minded folks, as volunteer facilitator will be able to put their own stamp on the session. Weekly commitment ranging from 30 to 60 minutes. This is a remote position and can be done from work or home. Volunteer needs access to a reliable phone, internet provider, and computer. Basic background check is required (volunteer will need Texas Driver's License for check.) Training and Support is provided.

Family Eldercare is a nonprofit agency that has been providing services to older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers in the Austin, Texas area since 1982. Programs and services include: housing and stability, in-home counseling, guardianship, virtual activities for isolated older adults, service coordination, and our annual summer fan drive.
