Volunteers needed at our Camp PowerUp Los Angeles day camp! Camp PowerUp is a diabetes prevention camp for children and families who are at high-risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
Duties will include checking in campers and parents, activities set-up, lunch distribution and camper check-out.
Shifts are available as below; either day
9:00am- 12:30pm
12:30pm- 4:00pm

Description
Californians are increasingly feeling the effects of diabetes as thousands of people suffer from the disease, and many others may have diabetes and not know it! It is estimated that one out of every three children born after 2000 in the United States will be directly affected by diabetes.
That is why the American Diabetes Association's Southern California and Nevada's team is so committed to educating the public about how to stop diabetes and support those living with the disease.
