Do you have the gift of compasion? Do people tell you that you are a good listener? Have you been through a loss and understand the various emotions the first year after a loss can bring? Texas Home Health Hospice in Longview, TX has an immediate opening for a bereavement volunteer. This volunteer would be based in our office here on 4th Street in Longview, TX and would be calling families who have been through a recent loss to offer support. All training is provided and volunteers can set their own schedules. Even 2-4 hours a month can make a big difference to those grieving in our community.

Description
We are a hospice organization who serves a 9 county, 60 mile radius area of Longview, Texas. Our parent company is AccentCare. We have RN, Social Work, Spiritual Care and CNA services. Our Berevement team serves the family for 13 months after the date of death.
