Seeking an artist with basic knowledge of ceramics (slab rolling, hand building) to volunteer to teach/mentor a group of adult artists with disabilities, introduce new techniques and work on skill-building. Mentor will have access to our pottery studio including kiln, slab roller and extruder in exchange for teaching/working with the adults with disabilities in our program. Looking for someone once a week, any day Mon-Fri, hours are flexible but somewhere between 10-1pm. Mentor must be comfortable working with and engaging adults with disabilities. Must be able to pass a background check.
