Community Blood Center Volunteer Ambassadors offer a welcoming smile and helpful assistance to the blood donors who supply the critical blood that patients need in hospitals across the region. Ambassadors greet donors at CBC mobile blood drives or blood centers, distribute snacks, provide friendly conversation, observe donors for negative reactions and thank them for their life-giving gift.

NOTE: Requirements include an interview, background check and orientation and ask volunteers to commit to at least 12 hours of service within the first 6 months of volunteering; Minimum age: 14; At this time, CBC does not provide court-ordered community service hours.
