Each year the WorldBeat Cultural Center provides San Diego families a safe and educational Performing Arts and Science Summer Camp to help underserved children from all backgrounds discover their growing world. This year we are looking to expand our programs, but we need YOU!!!
This year the WBC Children’s Summer Camp begins in July 10th through August 18th from 9 AM till 4 PM and we need your help to make the program better than ever. We will work with your schedule on time/dates. Our Outdoor Classroom is host to 250 campers annually! Our children learn how to be resourceful and work in groups while exploring local wildlife and culture in a fun, up-close, and personal way. Our weekly STEAM-based curriculum includes Earth science, hiking, bird watching, urban agriculture, dance, theater, drumming and crafts. Your gift is essential to offset tuition expenses for families in need, and to improve and expand the program.

As a non-profit multi-cultural arts organization we are dedicated to promoting, presenting and preserving the African Diaspora and Indigenous cultures of the world through Music, Art, Dance, Multi-Media Arts, Education, and STEAM Research. We are located in beautiful Balboa Park in the heart of San Diego, California. By raising consciousness, the WorldBeat Cultural Center promotes peace within our San Diego community. We provide on-going programs and services that nurture the spirit of children, the elderly and everyone in between. Our main goal is to create unity within diversity.
