Are you sensitive to the elderly? Do you find yourself chatting with older people while shopping or at church or at work? If you really care about people that are older and are near the end of life, if you really want to be with them, please call or send a note today.

We are looking for compassionate companions to join our team. Spending a couple of hours a week with someone that is living in a group home can make their week! They will appreciate something to do - conversation, company to watch TV, reading, puzzles - you decide after meeting them.

Mission Statement

Haven Hospice is committed to providing quality care for patients faced with a life-limiting illness. The goal is to improve the quality of a person's life through pain and symptom control, emotional and spiritual support. We believe that the patient and family are intergral decision making members of the hospice team in planning and receiving care. Hospice offers an alternative to repeat hospitalizations. Hospice affirms life. It neither hastens nor postpones death, but assists the patient and family in living with a life-limiting illness. Hospice regards dying as a normal process at life's end in which we can provide dignity and comfort for the patient and loved ones.

Description

Haven Hospice reaches it's goal of supporting the patient and their families through several various disciplines. Our doctors, nurses, CNA's, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and community educators make up our caring team of individuals who know how important hospice is to not only the patient, but to the entire family.
