Do you want to make a difference in the lives of individuals dealing with life-limiting illnesses? Our hospice volunteers offer comfort, support and companionship to our patients. The patient visitor will socialize and simply be present with the patient. Also, the volunteer may provide a brief respite to the caregiver.
Volunteers are given free training. Some travel is required.
We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:
Patient Visitors-direct patient and caregiver contact. Visit patients regularly. We have volunteer opportunities in Belmont, Monroe, and Washington counties. You choose the county that is convenient for you.

Medi Home Health and Hospice is looking for volunteers to assist patients who has life-limiting illness and to assist their families with respite care and to run errands etc.
We are also looking for Bereavement support volunteers. Volunteers to assist as bereavement care group volunteers. To provide administrative support, professional volunteers and or direct patient care.
If you have special skills or talents, let us know how we can put them to work for the benefit of our patients.
