We need someone to develop a social media profile for us to help create awareness of what is happening at ARTS and to help our fundraising efforts. We have a FB page but it is not very sophisticated and not really used to its potential.

Mission Statement
To heighten the visual and performing arts experience in our rural communities with an emphasis on providing educational opportunities for children
Description
ARTS was formed in 2003. Due to budget cuts in the schools and geographical distance from large metropolitan areas, the children in our rural area were not reeiving art education and did not have ready access to the performing arts.
Our 3 core programs are Arts After School, Fine Arts Assemblies, and Summer Art Camp. Art After School is provided at no charge to children in Fayette and surrounding counties; these are classes in different media and theatre and are offered twice a week in fall and spring semesters. Fine Arts Assemblies is offered at no charge to all area ISDs on a first come, first served basis. Past performances include Houston Opera To Go, Ballet Austing, University of Houston's Concert Chorale, harpist Juan Carera from Paraguay, Rattletree Marinba from Zimbabwe. Summer Art Camps are week-long arts camps offered in different genre, offered at $90/class.
