Do you want to make a difference in the lives of individuals dealing with life-limiting illnesses? Our hospice volunteers offer comfort, support and companionship to our patients. The patient visitor will socialize and simply be present with the patient. Also, the volunteer may provide a brief respite to the caregiver.
Volunteers are given free training. Some travel is required.
We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:
Patient Visitors-direct patient and caregiver contact. Visit patients regularly. We have volunteer opportunities in Belmont, Monroe, and Washington counties. You choose the county that is convenient for you.
