ORGANIZATION: Greenheart Exchange

CCI Greenheart, a nonprofit exchange organization, is seeking volunteer hosts for 4 French exchange students arriving in July and staying 2 - 5 weeks. These students will be volunteering at Jackson House crisis center in Hot Springs Arkansas 2 - 4 days per week.

Below is info about specific participants needing hosts:

1. Paul, M, 18; Dates: July 7 - July 21; Interests: rugby and surfing; also loves dogs!

2. Nikias, M, 17; Dates: July 8 - July 29; Interests: commercial aviation/aircraft (plans to become a pilot when older); science, computers. Nikias is half Greek and half French, and loves learning languages!

3. Lyvia, F, 16; Dates: July 18 - August 22; Interests: playing piano, acting, singing, movies, hiking. Lyvia also loves cats!

4. Nadia, F, 15; Dates: July 22 - August 19; Interests: languages/history, gymnastics, thai boxing, soccer, shopping

Below are details about expectations and requirements:

Location:

* Anywhere within an hour of Hot Springs

What is expected of me and my family?

* Provide 3 meals a day and a secure and inviting home

* Treatment of student as a member of the family, which may include household rules, responsibilities and privileges

* Some help with transport to/from volunteer site. (Our local coordinator can also assist as needed. )

Who can host a student?

CCI Greenheart host families represent the diversity of American culture. Our families are of varied economic, religious and racial backgrounds and include working parents, couples with and without children, single parents, adoptive parents, and empty-nesters. All host families complete an online application and each family member aged 18+ must clear a background check.

What will the students do?

* Volunteer 2 - 4 times a week at Jackson House

* Share meals, traditions, and daily conversations with you

* Come with his/her own medical insurance and spending money.
