Are you crafty? Do you have experience working with beads? Do you enjoy teaching other adults? The Delaware Avenue branch library is looking for someone with experience in the craft of beading to lead a workshop to interested adult patrons. What direction the class goes in is up to the volunteer, so you can let your creativty fly! Come have fun while also helping out your local library!

The Albany Public Library consists of 7 branches in the City School District; Washington, North Albany, Bach, Arbor Hill, Pine Hills, Howe, and Delaware. You can visit the 7 branches for books and DVDs, music and magazines, classes and workshops, computers and Wi-Fi, tutoring and tax assistance, arts activities and technology programs, study spaces and meeting rooms, movie showings and musical performances, book clubs and author talks, and so much more. Volunteering is vital to the health of the library and the community by providing much needed support to the youth and adults who rely on library services. Volunteers gain the skills and knowledge to help with their professional career and personal life. Student volunteers gain community service credit and valuable job experience.
