Gabby's Love Foundation (GLF) is a charitable non-profit who dedicates themselves to improving the lives of children with inherited bleeding disorders. On Tuesday, October 31st, 2017, GLF is hosting the 1st Annual Bleeder Theater featuring Beetlejuice at Alamo Drafthouse.
This event will host multiple areas:
- Costume Contest
- Silent Auction
- Bag Distribution
GLF is in need of honest, trustworthy volunteers who are willing to work different areas. In the Costume Contest area, volunteers will need to have patrons sign photo release waivers and ensure each patron is supplied a unique numerical sticker for their entry. In the Silent Auction area, volunteers will need to register bidders, answer questions regarding the bidding/winning process, and ensure all rules are followed. In the Bag Distribution area, volunteers will need to ensure every bag is ready to be provided to patrons on their exit of the theater. Volunteers will also be needed for helping answer generic GLF questions about our mission and focus to the community.
**Please note, all volunteering will take place in the Alamo Drafthouse lobby, and not in the theater. A movie ticket is required for entrance to the theater, and can be purchased prior to (or the day of) the event, subject to availability. If you volunteer and also purchase a ticket for the event, you are allowed to view the movie as well!**
