The Invesco QQQ Championship is the second of three season-ending events in the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs held at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA from October 31st - November 3rd . The top 54 PGA TOUR Champions players in the Charles Schwab Cup standings will compete for the opportunity to advance to the Charles Schwab Cup Championship event and compete for the coveted Charles Schwab Cup trophy. Notable players include Fred Couples, Bernhard Langer, John Daly and defending champions Tom Pernice Jr. The Sherwood Cares Foundation has been named the official charity of the Invesco QQQ Championship through the 2018 event. In 2018, the event supported 31 local charities as well as The First Tee of Los Angeles ultimately donating over $550,000 to local charities within Ventura County.
We are looking for volunteers to assist in numerous committees including Marshals, Standard Bearers, Caddie Services, Transportation and more. Please check back for an update regarding online registration. We need your support!
2019 Invesco QQQ Championship Volunteer Requirements:
1. Purchase a 2019 Invesco QQQ Championship Package
2. Work a minimum of two (2) full days. Shifts vary in length, anywhere from four (4) to six (6) hours depending on committee assignment. Your chairman will contact you to confirm your scheduling preferences and availability in early October.
3. Have the stamina to stand or walk for extended periods during shift.
4. Must be 16 years of age by October 28, 2019
