Tacos 4 Life is sponsoring a Feed My Starving Children MobilePack to The Boys and Girls Club of Fayetteville 560 N Rupple Rd, Fayetteville October 6-7, 2017 to pack 272,160 meals for starving and malnourished children overseas. Please sign up for this terrific volunteer opportunity!

Plain and simple- this is a terrific volunteer activity for families (children ages 5 and up are welcome), high school students (get a jump on those community service hours) work groups (great team building activity indoors!) and anyone looking for something new, fun and different that has incredible purpose and meaning!
There is no cost to volunteer and this event only has 1200 volunteer spots so I’d encourage you to sign up soon!

Description
Christian non-profit Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) has tackled world hunger since 1987 by sending volunteer-packed, nutritious meals to 70 countries. These meals are specifically designed to reverse and prevent malnutrition and are used in schools, orphanages, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. In 2019, FMSC welcomed more than 1.4 million volunteers to pack more than 368 million meals through its permanent sites and nationwide MobilePack program. The Minnesota-based charity spends more than 90% of total donations directly on feeding the hungry and has earned the highest 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for 16 consecutive years. During your packing session you will be participating in an assembly line process. With the help of volunteers, dry ingredients are poured into bags, the bags are weighed and sealed, then boxed and put onto pallets. If we have volunteers that are unable to stand for long periods of time, they are welcome to sit at tables and label bags. Your packing session includes a brief orientation and video followed by packing instructions. Your packing shift will conclude with a short closing. During that time you will learn how many meals you and your fellow volunteers have packed.Registration required at fmsc.org/volunteer
