If you're looking to stay busy one day a week over the summer, please join MS Society staff at our warehouse to prepare for Bike MS! Volunteers will be moving boxes, cleaning water jugs, assembling first aid kids, and other duties as assigned. This is the perfect community service opportunity because you're trained on site and you do not have to commit long term.
We're looking for volunteers to help for a couple hours in between 10 am and 2 pm.
Help needed on:
August 29 - 30 - 31: Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday
September 6 - 7: Wednesday - Thursday
September 11 - 12 - 13: Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday
September 18 - 19: Monday - Tuesday
You don't need to sign up for every date available- you could just join us for one shift and we'd be grateful for the help!

Mission Statement
We will cure MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives.
Description
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. The Mid America Chapter serves 159 counties in Kansas and Missouri.
Seeking out and engaging volunteers to the MS cause is at the very core of our business. Each year the Society organizes a series of community events that provide many opportunities for the enthusiastic volunteer. The Society offers two key fundraising activities: Bike MS, and Walk MS Walk. The Society also engages volunteers to help influence law-makers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people with MS. The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
