Looking for a little mystery this fall? Come to Independence Lake County Park and visit Scarecrow Lane, where you can solve a mystery, and enjoy family friendly activities! Activities include: building your own scarecrow, participating in crafts, conquering the Halloween obstacle course, competing in a spider toss, and enjoying delicious cider & doughnuts. You won’t want to miss out on this WCPARC original event!

We need volunteers to assist with -

  • Crafts
  • Handing out cider & doughnuts
  • Assisting with the obstacle course & spider toss
  • Assisting with the scavenger hunt
  • Helping kids/families make their own scarecrow

Description

Washtenaw County's 27 cities, villages and townships are home to about 325,000 citizens in urban, suburban, and rural settings. This mix of different settings provides many opportunities for education, recreation, business, agricultural, and home life. The two largest cities are Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, homes to two large universities - the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti.
