Make a difference in the life of a young woman or a family facing an unexpected pregnancy. We conduct pregnancy tests, counsel women as to their options, guide them towards local support services, lend a friendly ear to their problems, and hand out baby clothing and diapers for up to approximately two years along with a full layette in the eighth month. Volunteers can train to work in this area or may choose to be an untrained companion, or help with occasional special projects. This is all offered in a friendly, non-judgemental manner and all services are free and confidential. Our office is open from 6 - 8 p.m. Mondays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 7 - 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, and from 7 - 9 p.m. on Thursdays.
