Abode Hospice is in need of compassionate volunteers to be companions for our patients experiencing life-limiting illness. Our goal at Abode Hospice is to enhance the quality of life of our patients and our volunteers are an integral part of our team. Our volunteers offer our patients companionship during a time in life in which compassion is most needed.

Our volunteers engage in a variety of activities with our patients and their families. These include: active listening, listening to music, completion of legacy projects, assisting in writing letters, and providing respite for caregivers.

We provide extensive and flexible training to our volunteers. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a person experiencing life-limiting illness, please consider joining us at Abode Hospice! Your experience will be life-changing.
