Family Advocate Volunteers play a vital role in supporting families whose children are survivors of physical and sexual abuse. This particular time is very sensitive for families who are struggling to make sense of what is occurring. Therefore, we are calling on volunteers to provide their knowledge and expertise to support/navigate families through this challenging times.
Volunteers can assist in various domains such as education, employment, medical but are not limited to. Volunteers will also be responsible to provide the non-offending families with case management needs such as connecting them to community resources or establishing new partnerships.
