The Truck Crew is an essential component of the Ronald McDonald Household Sale. The crew travels to houses and Estate Sales and picks up large amounts of donated goods and furniture. These goods are transported back to RMHC’s Sale location and unloaded.

Essential tasks:

  • Travel to pack up/pick up locations.
  • Help pack up boxes.
  • Load boxes and furniture into moving truck.
  • Travel to Sale location and help unload contents of moving truck to sorting area.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester supports the health and wellness of children and their families through innovative programming, supportive services and community partnerships.

Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester provides a "home-away-from-home" for families of children receiving health care in the Rochester community. We accomplish this by:

* Caring for families and keeping them close to their children at our 24-bedroom Westmoreland House
* Caring for parents of the most critically ill and injured children at our House Within the Hospital located near the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Golisano Children’s Hospital.
* Providing respite for families in the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Golisano Children's Hospital
* Providing respite for families in the Family Lounge at Rochester General Hospital
*Supporting families at the Pediatric Outpatient Ambulatory Clinic at Golisano Children's Hospital
