In Hospice, we view every moment of life as a treasure. Our Volunteers give a piece of their heart and the priceless gift of their time. We simply wouldn’t be who we are without them and the support they provide to our patients, families, and our staff.

Volunteers are the heart of the hospice care team. They can provide a variety of supportive services to enhance the quality of life for our patients and their families. Whether you prefer to interact with patients and families directly, or provide administrative supportive in the office, every volunteer has something significant to contribute.

Metro Hospice provides training and the ongoing support that each volunteer will need to be successful. Every volunteer must be 18 years of age or older, possess a valid driver's license and complete a background check and drug screen.
