Do you love pets and would like to be involved with helping them??? Harley's Hope Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit, is looking for outgoing board members to be actively involved with decision making, heading chair positions for tasks, creating and implementing the organization's vision and helping to promote fund raising programs. It's a plus if you are plugged into community groups and have community connections.

Board Members need to reside in the Pikes Peak Region, Colorado. Time commitment will vary: 3 hours every two months for board meetings, and apporiximately that every month when chairing a task.

Harley's Hope Foundation is based in Black Forest, Co, and is a small, nonprofit animal welfare agency providing services to help keep companion and service animals in their homes rather than being surrendered to shelters or euthanized. It is not a shelter.

About Harley's Hope Foundation

Location:

PO BOX 88146, COLORADO SPRINGS, CO 80908, US

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to ensure low income pet parents and their companion or service animals remain together when issues arise. The goal in doing so is to prevent at-risk animals from being surrendered or falling victim to euthanasia for treatable conditions and behaviors.

Description

Harley's Hope Foundation is Colorado's only multi-service safety net charity dedicated entirely to keeping pets and people together. We don't do pet adoptions but instead work hard to keep pets in their existing homes. After all, adoption is just the first step in the journey.

Services include financial assistance with major veterinary care, emergency foster/boarding assistance for pets whose people are hospitalized, pet food assistance, and much more.
