Institute for Creative Community Initiatives (ICCI) is seeking candidates for a part-time volunteer position as a Mentor. This position requires a highly motivated, self-starting, enthusiastic, passionate, and personable individual with an interest in mentoring female middle and high school students. ICCI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, young adults, and families in vulnerable communities to address issues confronting their well-being through innovative and sustainable strategies that focus on adopting healthy lifestyles. ICCI provides excellent empowerment services in three key areas: 1.) Health Solutions for Diverse Populations, 2.) Economic Empowerment Education and Training and 3.) Youth, Young Adult, and Family Outreach. Volunteerism is at the heart of what we do and beyond providing service to our community, ICCI volunteers are able to receive training and development, as well as log community service hours. This valued team member is responsible for collaboratively leading our Young Women’s Empowerment Series sessions.

The mentoring curriculum is provided and mentors lead sessions and welcome guest speakers. The time commitment for this position is 2-3 hours per week (minimum).
