Butterfly Ballad at CHOA
Piccadilly Puppets performs "Butterfly Ballad" at Egleston Children's Hospital (Children's Healthcare of Atlanta)

The Piccadilly Puppets Company (PPC) is seeking one or two new board members for 2017-19 (2 year commitment preferred, but not essential).

The Board of Directors is the governing body with the primary responsibilities to provide oversight of PPC’s operations and financial health, and to be the steward of the organization’s mission.

Expectations for Board Members include:

  • Attend at least two meetings per year. Meetings are held more or less quarterly in Buckhead or Virginia-Highland.
  • Contribute to the finances of PPC by either making a personal contribution, soliciting a contribution from a company or individual, or both. (There is no minimum amount required; you can give $5 or $500!)
  • Assist in planning one fundraising event during the year (if we decide to do one) and/or help with a crowdfunding campaign by sending emails to people you know.
  • Be a cheerleader for a small organization that can use some word-of-mouth and encouragement.
The only real requirement is interest in puppetry and/or children's theatre (no experience necessary). We need diversity in age, race, profession, etc. The skills listed are just a "wish list" for things we could use, not requirements!
