Come and help us move plants and trees from Moon Dog Community Farm (located in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver), to the Smiley Middle School Garden (located in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver). All plants must go!
Following the volunteer event there will be a BBQ, sponsored by GreenLeaf, with hot dogs, hamburgers and more! For more details, and to RSVP, email makalah@groundworkcolorado.org

Description
We work with residents of Denver's lower income neighborhoods to improve the physical environment. We have three main program areas:
1. Building Sustainable Communities, which includes job training and environmental leadership development.
2. Brownfields and land transformations, which includes converting underutilized properties to new parks, trails and other public amenities.
3. Denver Climate Challenge which focuses on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
