ORGANIZATION: ZEITERION THEATRE INC

Craft Vendor Volunteers

  • Assist the Craft Vendor Coordinator with pre-marking off vendor spots on the street with chalk/tape (Ideally done on Friday)
  • Work with Craft Vendor Coordinator to position craft vendors in their appropriate vendor spots using the Festival Map
  • Guide vendors into their allotted spots and help to quickly unload their product if they need assistance. It is important to unload quickly so that vendors can move their vehicles in a timely fashion and make way for other vendors
  • Inform vendors where to park based on their vendor location
  • Informing the Craft Vendor Coordinator of any issues that may arise with vendors, unweighted booths, etc.

The New Bedford Folk Festival depends annually on volunteers who donate their time to make it a success. Volunteering at the New Bedford Folk Festival is a wonderful and economical way to experience the conference as well as a tremendous opportunity to help a great cause. We will give you a one general weekend pass in exchange for a 4 hour volunteer shift along with a free volunteer t-shirt provided on the day that you volunteer. Below is a summary of the volunteer positions that will be needed for July 8 & 9.
