Seeking Licensed mental health counselors that can offer support to the parents of premature babies on an as needed basis. Support can be offered virtually online, by phone or if the client in your area in person. Must be sensitive to parents in crisis due to the birth or death of a premature baby. Must be background checked. All information confidential that is obtained from the family unless it is a danger to self or anyone else.

Mission Statement

The Gift of Life was formed to offer hope, encouragement, and support to parents of premature babies in neonatal intensive care units.

Description

The Gift of Life is a registered 501c3 corporation set up to work directly with the neonatal intensive care unit to assess immediate needs in the NICU, the parents and babies in the NICU. The funds we raise are to sustain the projects which provide the items that are needed by the NICU’s we support, the premature babies, their parents and to continue to develop new programs.
