Education Leader Training at Canopy
Wednesdays, August 16th, 23rd, 30th, 10am - 12:30pm

Are you passionate about trees, the environment, and education? Do you enjoy working with youth? This three-part interactive training will prepare you to volunteer as an Education Leader with Canopy, exploring the wonderful world of trees through hands-on science lessons with elementary, middle, and high school students.
The training will take place on three consecutive Wednesdays:
Part 1: Wednesday, August 16th, 10am - 12:30pm
Part 2: Wednesday, August 23rd, 10am - 12:30pm
Part 3: Wednesday, August 30th, 10am - 12:30pm
Sessions will cover teaching methodology, cultural sensitivity, and three of Canopy's education modules. Following the training, you’ll have a chance to sign up for volunteer dates throughout the 2017-18 school year.

As a small organization, we depend on passionate volunteers to help us make a big impact through tree planting, tree stewardship, and environmental education.
