In the past, we have borrowed a Prize Wheel to add a little extra fun & excitement to our events. We love it so much, we are looking for a crafty volunteer or handy group to build us our very own clicking and clacking Prize Wheel.
Just like in Wheel of Fortune, we are looking for a wheel that has removable and/or interchangeable slots that also make an exciting clacking noise as the wheel spins. A wheel that’s big enough to stand on its own would be ideal however, we would also be pleased to have a table top size wheel for ease of portability.
So step right up and take a chance to make a difference! Over multiple events during the year, our very own prize wheel has the potential to raise thousands of dollars that would go to building stronger, more stable families.
Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Sheldon Lamb via phone at 612-877-7826 or SLamb@FamilyWiseServices.org.

Mission Statement
Strengthening Families by Promoting the Safety, Stability, and Well-being of Children.
Description
FamilyWise is a local nonprofit that helps our community’s most vulnerable children and families. Many of these families come to us with a history of poverty, domestic violence and homelessness. Your volunteering and financial support helps break this cycle of despair and gives them hope for a better future.
Our goal is to promote social change by strengthening families and the community through programs that:
- Educate parents on skills needed to lead stable lives and provide safe homes for their children.
- Empower families to achieve self-sufficiency and to advocate for themselves and their children.
- Enrich the lives of children, youth and families, enabling them to lead healthy, productive family lifestyles.
"Volunteering at FamilyWise opened my eyes to a whole new world where children and families from all walks of life are treated with dignity and respect. It made me feel good to know that I was helping contribute in a meaningful way to the greater good."
