The Salvation Army Syracuse is looking for energetic volunteers to help in our childcare center, located on S Salina St. Volunteers will be assisting classroom teachers in demonstrating positive behavior to the class, as well as leading activities, and assisting with meal times. Background checks will be performed on all volunteers. The Child care center is open from 8-5 Monday though Friday

Description
The Salvation Army of the Syracuse Are has been assisting people in this community since 1883. Last year we served 30,000 people in Onondaga County through 40 programs ranging from our food pantry, shelters for the homeless, licensed, quality day care for low-income families, outreach and counseling for runaway teens, housing, parenting and life skills training for young mothers, senior services and food and gifts for disadvantaged families during the holidays.
