The Morris County 4-H Fair is the showcase event of the year that highlights the accomplishments and skills of our county's youth. Volunteers are needed for set-up, clean-up, and throughout the Fair to make this annual event a success. This is a great way to be part of a big event, support our county's youth, meet other community members, and have fun! We highly encourage volunteering with friends and family. There's plenty of ways you can help!

4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults.

Description

The 4-H Youth Development Program uses a learn-by-doing approach to enable youth to develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to become competent, caring, and contributing citizens of the world. This is accomplished by using the knowledge and resources of caring adults:

  • To provide informal, educational programs for youth in grades 1-13 (one year out of high school)
  • To improve community partnerships and collaborations
  • To strengthen skills for adults working with youth through publications and training
  • To encourage responsibility, community awareness, and character development in youth
