There are many opportunities in the Metro Denver, Douglas, and Western Arapahoe areas for those ages 55 and older to give back to your community and help ensure that underfed families and individuals receive nutritious food and information to ensure their healthy future.
We are seeking folks for our local food banks. This opportunity includes packing and sorting food at your local food bank for those in need. Time commitment is flexible.
To get started there is a simple application and orientation which is quick and easy. Background checks are needed based on the volunteer site you are placed at.
For more information about these volunteer opportunities, please contact the RSVP Program at Volunteers of America, Alyssa at (303) 297-0408 ext: 13126 or adiaz@voacolorado.org
