ORGANIZATION: My Community Resource House and Garden

We have a wonderful opportunity for you to help a community garden located in the Civic Park district-Flint. We are working toward creating relaxation areas for our space, planting, cultivating and watering the garden. We are one year in and are seeking to incorporate more residents by offering outside cooking classes and education on recycling of America's goods and tapping into a creative personality. Please join us, as we allow our residence to heal their spirit.

We are committed to providing Community Resources and Gardens throughout the United States in the heart of cities that are economically deprived.

Description

  • TheCommunityGardenpromotes an atmosphere where hands on experience increases knowledge of growing fresh produce and flowers, increasing nutrition and preparation to healthy living.
  • Resources are provided for community programs that enhance the lives of people who are attempting to make an economic change through education and hands on experience thus increasing critical thinking skills that contribute to humanity. In addition we seek the opportunity to provide a garden that promotes wellness and a therapeutic means for improvement toward optimal health.
  • Inspiring recycling ofAmerica’s goods is provided through exhibits where individuals learn and are inspired through creativity and promotion.
