CDO needs assistance providing rare chromosome disorder information in Spanish and French to new families. This information will be in the form of brochures currently available only in English that we hope to make more accessible by offering in other languages.
We also need help in translating some genetic journal articles currently available only in Chinese. These articles may contain valuable information in helping us understand rare chromosome disorders.

Our mission is to provide support and information to anyone diagnosed with a rare chromosome or gene disorder. CDO actively promotes research and a positive community understanding of all chromosome and gene disorders. Chromosome Disorder Outreach Inc. is a member of the National Organization of Rare Disorders and the Genetic Alliance. CDO is a 2023 Great Nonprofit.
Description
CDO offers individuals the chance to connect with others coping with the same of similar chromosomal or gene disorder diagnosis in many ways. We provide each member with personalized networking/family matching services based upon chromosomal analysis, medical/developmental symptoms and/or regional location. We offer Ask the Doctor services through our genetic consulting program. Also we maintain an extensive library of information, database registry and interactive website. We publish a periodic newsletter, new chromosome reports and provide outreach through our social media applications too. Additionally we make available access to research opportunities and interaction with our medical advisory board.
