ORGANIZATION: Heritage Sylvania

The Sylvania Historical Village located in historic downtown Sylvania, Ohio is looking for several volunteer educators/ program presenters for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. They will be leading hands on local history sessions for school children coming on field trips. Each year the Sylvania Historical Village welcomes several thousand school children for engaging programs. We are looking for adults interested in working with children and who love meeting new people to help with these programs. Scheduling is flexible! You can work one or two days a week or once a month. We provide all the training. An education background is great but certainly not required! This is a great way to give back to the community whether you are a retiree or working from home parent or college student with a few hours a week to spare. We are an important educational resource in our region but we can't do it without our great volunteers. Please contact Andi Erbskorn at aerbskorn@sylvaniahistoricalvillage.org or call 419-517-5533 for more details
