The Goldenberg Group and its People Helping People Foundation have been committed for the past ten years to creating a positive transformation in Philadelphia. Through our real estate development, community partnerships and monthly volunteer events, TGG and PHP work hard to build capacity and lend a hand wherever we can.
This year we’re proud to partner with McMichael Elementary School in West Philadelphia! TGG/PHP have committed to improvement projects throughout the facility including renovation/improvements in the teachers' lounge, auditorium, indoor recess and home economic room.
All materials, tools and supplies will be provided. What we need is YOU. We are looking for 150 volunteers to help with painting, cleaning and moving. We have jobs that demand all different kinds of skills - from heavy lifting, to delicate decorating, to meticulous painting.
By sharing your time and energy with us - for just a few hours - you’ll not only be directly serving the students and teachers of this vital public school, but also investing in the future of the larger West Philadelphia community.
