During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Volunteer in a Nature Reserve on the Isle of Youth! You would be assisting with important Coral Reef conservation efforts, supporting the local community of Cocodrilo through sustainable means.
Coral Reef Restoration volunteers will partake in Coral reef monitoring and gardening, Fish/Seagrass surveying, Lionfish monitoring and capture, depending on the local community needs. Data collected will help support the environmental planning of the protected area. Volunteers might be able to assist with sea turtle conservation efforts during nesting season (May to October) depending on need. Volunteers will walk the beach and collect data on the nesting turtles, nests, and eggs, and contribute to a recently started local sea turtle conservation initiative.
