Variety Stag: This is a casual, outdoor/arena event that includes cocktails, steak dinner, door prizes and auction at the Powder River Ranch Riding Arena. This men's only event focuses is on hunting, fishing and golf (women can volunteer however). We are seeking volunteers for set up, clean up, and tear down.
Parking: 4:30-8pm. Direct cars in parking lot. Will wear neon vests, use radios, and have a golf cart if needed to use
Set Up: 1-5pm. Set up tables, pop up tents, chairs, center pieces, auction items, etc.
Clean Up: 4:30-8:30pm. Clear tables, set up stations for knives, serve cake, check trash (take out when needed).
Tear Down: 7-10pm. Take down consists of taking down pop up tents, collecting center pieces that are left, picking up, take down tables and chairs, move auction items etc.

Description
Variety- the Children's Charity of Iowa is dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged, at-risk, critically ill and special needs children throughout the state. Since the inception of the Telethon in 1975, Variety has raised more than $100 million to support the children of Iowa.
Variety is making a better future for our community by connecting people who care to programs that enable children to reach their full potential. Variety is helping create opportunities for children to fully share in the experiences of life.
Variety provides funding to non-profit children’s organizations for tangible items such as building expansions and renovations, equipment, programming needs and more. Our Kids on the Go! program provides Variety Vans to children’s organizations; bikes, helmets and locks to children who have never enjoyed their own bike; and specialized bikes for children with special needs. All children should have the opportunity to experience a playground, which is why Variety is working with Iowa communities to provide all-inclusive playgrounds for children with and without special needs.
