Do you enjoy interacting with people? Enjoy family friendly events? Join us on our outreach events. During these events we educate community members about the PRC's services and help spread our mission. All events vary in location, but all in Stanislaus County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in community/local neighborhood events
- Stay up-to-date on the variety of services and opportunities the PRC offers
- Help other volunteers or PRC staff with set up and tear down of the event
- Answer questions regarding PRC services
- Work with the Community
Qualifications:
- Must be able to interact positively with community members and other volunteers
- Friendly, pleasant manner
- Openly supports the mission and efforts of PRC and our partner organizations
- Must be atleast 14 years of age
Training:
- Shadow another volunteer or PRC staff at an event

Description
The Parent Resource Center, a Family Resource Center, is a private, non-profit, child abuse prevention agency. The Center offers support to parents through on-site parenting education classes to decrease the risk of child abuse, neglect and family violence. The goal of the Center is to provide emotional and educational support for parents in nurturing and guiding their children through the critical first 5 years of a child’s life.
