We have an opening to sit on our Human Rights Committe. The Human Rights Committee (HRC) is made up of members of the Omaha Community who meet once a month to discuss changes and updates to the programs, medical prescriptions and other items pertaining to the rights of the people we serve and how those changes affect their rights. The purpose is to advocate for the people we serve and their rights when receiving services from Mosaic. The meetings alternate between the 4th Wednesday (6PM) and 4th Thursday (11AM) of the month and generally last for 2 hours. Currently we have 5 committee members with expertise ranging from the medical field, pharmaceuticals and human services. We are currently seeking a person with nursing expertise but will consider all interested parties.
