Home to birds, river otter, coyote and of course our native salmon, the Gog le hi te Wetlands are a Tacoma treasure that needs the care of dedicated folks who love and respect nature. Invasive plants such as the Himalayan blackberry, and common tansy, find this type of habitat an easy target. Help us stop the spread of invasives so that native plants (and animals) can thrive!

Contact Jeanine Riss at jriss@healthybay.org or 253-383-2429 to register for this fun and important event. Citizens for a Healthy Bay will provide gloves, tools, and all other necessary equipment. You just need sturdy shoes and clothing!
