ChoreoNova is a nonprofit 501(c)3 whose mission is to use the art of dance to inspire resilience. We are dedicated to: 1) making and presenting deeply meaningful works designed to inspire positive ways of coping with life; 2) embracing a wider spectrum of dance than that usually performed by a single company; 3) finding novel ways of incorporating complementary technological elements into dance, while never overshadowing dance as the primary method of communication; and 4) making our art continuously more accessible and relatable to more people.
We are looking for people to network regularly on our behalf with the public, patrons, and representatives of other nonprofit organizations who share our goals. Looking for people located in the greater New York City area. Location is not virtual, but rather depends on event, etc. location.
If you are the kind of person who knows how to enter a roomful of strangers and come out with friends, then we want to hear from you! Put your schmoozing skills to good use. Contribute to making dance art more accessible for your community.

ChoreoNova exists to empower people through dance. We all face many challenges in life that we must try to resolve successfully. Using highly entertaining contemporary dance films and performances, ChoreoNova models these challenges. We motivate positive responses to personal and social ills. Wefuse different dance forms and multimedia technologies as we extend our field’s frontiers. We make dance accessible anytime, anywhere.

General Program
ChoreoNova offers entertaining art through live dance performances and films. We are moving toward multimedia and occasional interactive works alongside more traditional theater performances. We are always purposely innovating, evolving, learning, growing, and improving our connections with audiences. We take both technical and artistic risks to constantly improve the impact of our art. Despite blending sound, visual, and performing arts, the company remains dance-centered.
