PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Provide competent, immediate and temporary first aid care to a victim of injury or sudden illness until more advanced care/EMS can be obtained.
OPEN TIME DAYS
* Varies per event but most shifts are a minimum of 4 hours long｠and on weekends.｠
* Team Members need to staff a minimum of one event per year.｠
* Must be an active volunteer in another area of the ARC - as a Disaster Service Responder, Blood Service Volunteer, etc.
(We need approximately 6 members per event but some events need more volunteers)
* Orientation to American Red Cross.
* CPR/AED and First Aid or higher - must be kept current.
* Bloodborne Pathogens Training.
* Orientation to FA Stations.
* Other training as required.
