PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Shelter Members act as one of the first responders to large disasters by opening up community centers and schools as emergency shelters. Be on the front lines helping clients after they have been forced to leave their homes following a fire, flood, or other kind of disaster.

OPEN TIME DAYS

Occurs during large disaster events. Shifts are generally 12 hours at the onset of disaster and may be daytime or overnight.
